Things that Stacy Brings to the Work

Compassionate Inquiry
I spent 18 months studying with bestselling author and mental health pioneer Gabor Maté, through his organization Compassionate Inquiry.
I found this work to be gentle, loving and soft for the nervous system.
“The purpose of the Compassionate Inquiry is to drill down to the core stories people tell themselves – to get them to see what story they are telling themselves unconsciously; what those beliefs are, where they came from; and guide them to the possibility of letting go of those stories, or letting go of the hold those stories have on them …
That’s what Compassionate Inquiry is.”
~ Dr. Gabor Maté

Mindfulness and Being in the Present
The work of being present is very important, because what we are trying to do can only happen in the present moment. For most of us, this means starting a practice, or making the practice that we have stronger. Being in the present moment, or the “Here and now,” means that we are fully aware of what is happening to us and around us, at this single moment in time.
Add to this the complication that two-thirds of our experience happens beyond our conscious thought, and this is why I use so many more techniques in my work.

Somatic Awareness
Somatic awareness involves directing your attention to interoceptive or body experience and associated feelings. This is important as you become more comfortable, navigate, and make changes in your life.

Enneagram Interpretation
The Enneagram is a powerful tool that can help you gain insight into your motivations, core beliefs, and the unconscious patterns that drive your behavior. It is based on 9 archetypes or character traits. We all can access each of the 9 types within us, however one of the Enneagram Types acts as a powerful and centered default for each of us. As we come to learn about our type and how we engage with it in the various things that we experience and navigate, it gives us opportunities to make different choices.

Sound & Frequency Baths
Sound healing is a proven method (see link to study below) that uses various sound frequencies to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve physical and mental well-being, simulating the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
This therapeutic technique has gained popularity as more people are seeking natural and holistic approaches to healing.
When we are exposed to sound, our brain waves are entrained to the frequency of the sound, different frequencies are believed to have different healing effects and resonate in different places in the body .
Stacy is offering a 60-minute sound session that includes the use of gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, rattles, and drum.
These instruments are played as you sit in an anti-gravity chair ,and are surrounded by vibration.
Sound healing can offer a range of benefits, including stress reduction, improved sleep, pain relief, enhanced creativity and intuition, and greater emotional balance and well-being. It can also be helpful for those experiencing depression, anxiety, or PTSD.
Some of the top issues that people seek to relieve with sound healing include:
Stress and anxiety: Sound healing can help to reduce stress and promote relaxation by slowing down brainwaves and promoting a meditative state.
Insomnia and sleep disorders: The soothing tones of sound healing can help to promote restful sleep and alleviate insomnia.
Pain and inflammation: The vibrations produced by sound healing can help to reduce pain and inflammation in the body.
Depression and mood disorders: Sound healing can help to uplift mood and promote feelings of well-being by releasing endorphins and serotonin in the brain.
Digestive issues: The vibrations produced by sound healing can help to improve digestion and relieve digestive issues such as bloating and constipation.
Chronic fatigue: Sound healing can help to boost energy levels and promote a sense of vitality and well-being.
Emotional trauma: Sound healing can help to release emotional blockages and promote healing from past traumas.

The Kitchen Sink
This is where I share my life experiences to build our relationship, creating, fun, collaborative and dynamic experiences.
In addition to being engaged in workshops, and classes to learn new information and skills to bring to this space, I also have had many interesting and transformative experiences with respected professionals and teachers.
These experiences included art, gardening and nature, and work from indigenous cultures.
